Terms of Service

1. Service Description

HiredClaw provides workflow automation services for investor operations. We design, configure, and support OpenClaw-powered workflows that can screen, route, summarize, or organize information against criteria you provide. We do not provide investment advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or broker-dealer services.

2. Third-Party Software and Services

OpenClaw is open-source software developed and maintained by its community. Workflows may also depend on third-party APIs, browser automation, spreadsheets, dashboards, hosting providers, and data services. By using our services, you acknowledge that:

• OpenClaw is provided "as-is" by its maintainers
• We are not responsible for bugs, vulnerabilities, or issues in the OpenClaw software
• Software updates and security patches are the responsibility of the OpenClaw project
• Third-party services may change, fail, restrict access, or update pricing
• The software may change, be discontinued, or have breaking changes at any time

3. AI Inference and Automation Outputs

OpenClaw processes requests through third-party AI inference providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or others you configure). By using our services, you acknowledge that:

• Your prompts and context are sent to these third-party providers
• Each provider has their own terms of service and privacy policies
• We have no control over how these providers process, store, or use your data
• You are responsible for choosing providers that meet your privacy requirements
• AI-generated classifications, summaries, and routing outputs may be incomplete or incorrect
• You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for investment or business decisions

4. Early-Stage Technology

OpenClaw and AI assistant technology in general is early-stage and rapidly evolving. By using our services, you acknowledge that:

• The technology may behave unexpectedly
• Security vulnerabilities may be discovered
• Best practices may change over time
• You use this technology at your own risk

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiredClaw and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Data loss or corruption
• Security breaches or unauthorized access
• Business interruption
• Actions taken by the AI assistant
• Investment, diligence, screening, or routing decisions made using workflow outputs
• Issues arising from third-party software or services

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your hardware and credentials
• Changing any credentials shared during setup or workflow configuration
• Keeping OpenClaw and dependencies updated
• Monitoring your AI assistant behavior
• Reviewing workflow outputs before taking action
• Ensuring your use of workflow outputs complies with applicable laws and policies
• Complying with the terms of any third-party services you connect
• Backing up your data

7. Workflow Services

Our services may include workflow design, OpenClaw configuration, integration setup, screening criteria translation, spreadsheet or dashboard outputs, audit-trail setup, and handoff support as described in the applicable proposal, package, or purchase terms.

8. Refunds

Paid workflow services are non-refundable once work has begun unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pass-through third-party costs such as hosting, APIs, browser automation, or AI inference are billed separately unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
