1. Service Description

HiredClaw provides setup and configuration services for OpenClaw, an open-source AI assistant software. We install, configure, and secure OpenClaw on your hardware. We do not develop, maintain, or control the OpenClaw software itself.

2. Third-Party Software

OpenClaw is open-source software developed and maintained by its community. By using our setup services, you acknowledge that:

  • OpenClaw is provided "as-is" by its maintainers
  • We are not responsible for bugs, vulnerabilities, or issues in the OpenClaw software
  • Software updates and security patches are the responsibility of the OpenClaw project
  • The software may change, be discontinued, or have breaking changes at any time

3. AI Inference Providers

OpenClaw processes requests through third-party AI inference providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or others you configure). By using our setup services, you acknowledge that:

  • Your prompts and context are sent to these third-party providers
  • Each provider has their own terms of service and privacy policies
  • We have no control over how these providers process, store, or use your data
  • You are responsible for choosing providers that meet your privacy requirements

4. Early-Stage Technology

OpenClaw and AI assistant technology in general is early-stage and rapidly evolving. By using our services, you acknowledge that:

  • The technology may behave unexpectedly
  • Security vulnerabilities may be discovered
  • Best practices may change over time
  • You use this technology at your own risk

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiredClaw and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Security breaches or unauthorized access
  • Business interruption
  • Actions taken by the AI assistant
  • Issues arising from third-party software or services

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your hardware and credentials
  • Changing any credentials shared during setup
  • Keeping OpenClaw and dependencies updated
  • Monitoring your AI assistant's behavior
  • Complying with the terms of any third-party services you connect
  • Backing up your data

7. Setup Services

Our setup services include installation, configuration, and security hardening as described at the time of purchase. Support periods vary by tier. After the support period, ongoing assistance requires a separate retainer agreement.

8. Refunds

Setup services are non-refundable once the setup session has begun. If you are unsatisfied before the session starts, contact us to discuss options.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
